Venue listings policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

Duwata helps players find places to play pickleball. This policy explains how we list venues and how venue owners can manage their listings.

1. Where listings come from

Some listings are compiled from information the venue has made public, such as its name, area, number of courts, hours, open-play schedule, rates in pesos, and how to book. We check this information where we can, but it may be incomplete or out of date. Map pins may be approximate.

2. What the Unclaimed badge means

An Unclaimed badge means the listing was compiled by Duwata from public information and the venue owner hasn't claimed it. It doesn't mean the venue has partnered with or endorsed Duwata. Unclaimed venues don't take in-app bookings, and we don't show in-app slots for them.

3. “Book via their page”

On unclaimed listings, the Book via their page button opens the venue's own page or booking site. Bookings, payments and cancellations made there are between you and the venue. Duwata doesn't receive a fee for them.

4. Claiming a venue

  1. In the app, open the venue and tap Claim this venue.
  2. Enter your name, a contact email and/or phone number, and a short message about your role at the venue.
  3. We verify the claim, for example by contacting you through the venue's publicly listed contact details or asking for proof that you manage the venue.
  4. When approved, the badge is removed and the listing is linked to your account.

Once claimed, you can keep your details up to date and, where supported, offer slots for in-app booking. Your contact details from the claim are visible only to Duwata admins, never to other users.

5. Requesting removal

Owners or authorized representatives can tap Request removal on the venue, or email support@duwata.app with the venue name and your role. We aim to review requests within 5 business days. If approved, the listing is hidden from the app, usually within 1 business day of approval. We'll tell you the outcome using the contact details you gave us.

6. Corrections

Anyone can report a wrong detail (address, map pin, hours, rates, booking link) by emailing support@duwata.app. Owners can also fix details directly after claiming. We aim to review corrections within 5 business days.

7. Photos, logos and wording

We don't copy photos or logos from Facebook or other venue pages. Listings use factual details and our own wording. Claimed venues may add their own photos.
